Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s spat is going uglier day by day. While the fans of the duo, Kapil-Sunil were anxiously waiting for them to return on the screen together, here, their spat has taken an uglier twist.
When Sunil Grover left the Kapil Sharma’s show, it badly effected the TRP of the show which resulted in finally ending the show, when Kapil’s health condition went unstable.
Now, when Kapil Sharma is all set to make a comeback on television screens with his new show called Family Time With Kapil. The promo videos of the show have already became a hit among the fans but fans were still curious to know if they will get to see their favorite character from the previous shows of Kapil Sharma back on the television screens.
One such fan took to twitter and asked Sunil Grover if he is also a part of the show. The question that the fan asked actually lit the spark in the fight between the comedians.
It all started when Sunil Grover replied to that fan stating that he was never called for the show, here’s what he tweeted:
Bhai aap jaise kuch aur log bhi mujhse same poochte hain. Lekin mujhe iss show ke liye KOI call nahin aaya. Mera phone number bhi same hai.

Sunil Grover’s reply somehow hurt Kapil Sharma, who in a series of tweet bashed Sunil Grover, here are his tweets:

After this, Sunil Grover also replied to him trying to clear the matter, he tweeted:
The fight between the comedians bought a flood on the social media. The twitteratis got divided into two parts, one of them supporting Kapil, while the others supporting Sunil.
Although, now according to some sources, we have got to know the real reason behind Sunil Grover not joining Kapil Sharma’s show. A source revealed:
“But Grover had a pre-condition. He wanted the show’s title to be changed. Nothing radical…or so Grover claimed. He just wanted his name to be added to the title of the show. So instead of Family Time With Kapil Sharma, it would’ve been Family Time With Kapil & Sunil.”
The source added-
“Firstly, because the show was planned as a comeback vehicle for Kapil. It was Kapil who made Comedy Nights With Kapil andThe Kapil Sharma Show a success. Of course all the other comedians/entertainers in his team, including Sunil Grover, added to the show’s entertainment value. But for Grover to think he could share the marquee 50:50 with Kapil was ridiculous to the point of being laughable. All of Sunil’s efforts so far to project himself as a solo entertainer have been disastrous.”
A very close friend of Kapil Sharma revealed some insights from the fight that happened in the mid-air:
“The mid-air fight has been completely misrepresented in the press and media. Whatever happened during the flight was sorted out before the plane landed in India. Kapil and Sunil had hugged and wept over the incident. To his shock, Kapil woke up on the day after he landed, to widespread reports of his drunken misbehaviour on the flight. The betrayal of trust shattered Kapil. But still he reached out repeatedly to Grover, called him innumerable times, drove down to Grover’s house on a number of occasions to personally invite him to return to their show. Grover wouldn’t relent. Apparently he wanted to use this highly exaggerated ‘rift’ with Kapil as a basis to set himself up as a solo stand-up performer on a par with Kapil. So this conflict is all about division of power between Kapil Sharma and a colleague who wants equal billing.”
Now, we finally know the real reason behind Sunil Grover’s not joining the show.
