With the release of the teaser for their upcoming film “Dhadak”, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar have become the talk of the town. Janhvi looked pleasant and the color definitely suits her.
Fans have even said that this is going to be the most romantic jodi of this year. Combined with the boyish charm of Ishaan Khattar and the sharp features of Jhanvi Kapoor, this pair is definitely going to put the sparks on. Well, everyone is looking out for the release of “Dhadak” which is all set to hit theaters in 90 days.
A bit of information to those who don’t know “Dhadak” is the remake of the acclaimed Marathi movie – Sairat. The story is about a couple in love and their struggle with caste differences and honor killings.
While ‘Sairat’ was set in rural Maharashtra, ‘Dhadak’ is based out Rajasthan.
This romantic drama is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions and Zee studios. The movie also has the very famous “Zingaat” song being choreographed by Farah Khan. Sairat was one of the biggest Marathi hits of 2016, and the song was well received by the audience. Farah has specifically appealed to a the Dhadak fans for not making a comparison between Sridevi and Jhanvi. The late actor Sridevi, who passed recently had left Jhanvi Kapoor in a very difficult situation. But burying the scars of past Jhanvi resumed the shoot soon within a few days. This professional side of Jhanvi was much praised by everyone. Dhadak is being said to be her tribute to mother Sridevi. Dhadak definitely is a debut venture for Jhanvi Kapoor but not technically for Ishaan Khattar. He will soon be seen in Majid Majidi’s “Beyond The Clouds”. The movie is set to release on April 20th.
Dhadak is set to release on July 20th, 2018.
