After eight years of being married, on Monday, Channing Tatum and his now estranged wife Jenna Dewan announced their split, shocking many. However, some insiders have told us that their divorce has actually ‘been brewing for a while.’
‘They have been fighting the last couple of years – quite a bit. There’s a sense of relief on both of their parts. They’ve tried working on things and had therapy, but nothing changed,’ one source explained.
Apparently, the main reason why the marriage started crumbling was Channing’s supposed public flirting.
‘He flirts with everyone when he’s in public. She gets embarrassed and gets really upset. Their friends noticed it. There was no fixing him.’
Another insider explained that ‘I would see Jenna and Channing together a lot and she always seemed very on guard and possessive.’
It seems like at that point she was having a lot of trust issues when it came to her husband.
At least it turns out that the breakup is the best option for both of them.
‘She’ll blossom without him. And Channing finally doesn’t have to hide that he was ready to move on.’
Channing and Jenna took to social media today to release an official joint statement, claiming that despite their split, they are still on good terms.
The two are the co-parents of a daughter – Everly, 4.

‘We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing’s changed about how much we really love one another, but love’s a beautiful adventure taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets or salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best friends realizing it is time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We’re still a family and will always be loving, dedicated parents to Everly,’ the statement read.
