Famous filmmaker Vikram Bhatt came up with some interesting shows last year on the digital platform. His web show Maya got the attention of the internet users and is not all set for its sequel with a new story. Maaya was a web-series based on a woman’s life who witnessed some mental traumatic events and lives two life with different names. The series showcased Maaya and her life in the world of BDSM after marriage.

Vikram Bhatt has launched many web series which got popularity among the youth. Twisted, Gehraiyaan and Spotlight are few among them. He is always known for exploring some unique subjects. This time in Maaya 2 he will be focusing on LGBTQ community. The story will revolve around a lesbian couple and issues faced by them. Leena Jumani and Priyal Gor have signed the show and will be seen playing each other’s love interest. Leena Jumani has appeared in supporting roles in various films and daily soaps on television.
As the promo video is doing wonders on the internet, this series can be beneficial for Vikram Bhatt. Kumkum Bhagya actress, Leena Jumani posted the poster of the upcoming web series and also shared the teaser. From the promo, it can be clearly seen that the story will focus on issues faced by gays and lesbians. The promo video also contains a lip-lock scene between Leena and Priyal which is getting viral on social media these days.
The story is based on two girls Simmi and Ruhi who fall in love with each other. It would be interesting for fans to see Leena playing a bold yet different role. Maaya 2 will be streaming on YouTube as well as on Vikram Bhatt’s OTT platform from May 30. The web series is produced under the banner Lone Ranger by Vikram Bhatt and Jio cinemas.
